Smell

Twangy coffee, roast, and a substantial amount of bitter dark chocolate notes.  A bit like a peanut-butter protein bar.

Taste

Rich as heck for a porter (Even at 8%).  Delves deeply in dark roasted bread complexities.  Slickness throughout the sip with plenty of caramel and cocoa.  Definitive vanilla in mouthfeel with slight roast/burnt coffee taste.  Ending dry with lingering burnt bitterness.
